Cat No:C-0029

Description

Monomeric collagen can be used as an ELISA antigen to form a monolayer of collagen on the surface of the ELISA plate and quantify anti-collagen antibodies in the sample.

Basic Information

Specifications 0.5 mg/mL x 1 mL
Synonyms Highly purified type II collagen
Applications Our ELISA grade collagen can be used as an ELISA antigen for quantitative anti-collagen antibody detection.
Form 0.5 mg/mL solution in 0.05 mol/L acetic acid
Source Human sternal cartilage
MW 300 kDa
Purity >99% by SDS-PAGE, free of pepsin and proteoglycans
Storage It is stable for several weeks at 4°C under acidic conditions and for one year at -20°C under dark conditions, but gradually forms polymerized collagen and degrades under neutral conditions.
