Note	The maximum concentration of type II collagen in an acidic buffer is 4 mg/mL. To neutralize the product, the collagen solution can be added to the desired neutral buffer, such as 2-10x Tris-NaCl (NaCl final concentration: 0.15-0.2 M), or dialyzed at 4°C with 1x neutral buffer.
