T-cell grade collagen is an antigen used to stimulate T-cell proliferation. It can be used in experimental animals and in human in vitro culture systems, such as T cell proliferation assays and the establishment of type II collagen-specific T cell lines. This protein is soluble in acidic and neutral buffers as well as cell culture media.
