Cat No:CBM-0001
Carboxylated Modified Cellulose Nanofibers (CCNF) are prepared by introducing carboxyl groups (-COOH) on the surface of cellulose nanofibers. The carboxylated modification enhances the hydrophilicity, dispersibility, and compatibility of the nanofibers with other materials, which leads to a wide range of applications in composites, thickeners, biomedicine, and sensors.
Applications | The product can be applied to coatings and inks, chiral liquid crystal materials, anti-counterfeiting materials, drug slow release, pharmaceutical excipients, dispersants and so on. |

Instructions for Use | This product is a needle-like nanomaterial obtained from natural plant cellulose modified by carboxylation. It contains carboxyl groups on the surface and is well dispersed in water with pH=5~14. The fiber diameter is in the range of 4~10nm and the length is 100~500nm. Its thixotropy is very strong, the thixotropic index is adjustable between 7~9, and it has little effect on the viscosity of the system after adding. |
Dispersion Methods | The powder is pre-dispersed at high speed into a highly concentrated colloid, which is mixed with the product and then stirred and dispersed with conventional equipment. |
