Cat No:NIMN-0016
Halloysite nanoclay is a unique material with a tube-like morphology, consisting of two layers of aluminosilicate in a 1:1 Al:Si ratio. It exhibits low electrical and thermal conductivity and strong hydrogen interactions. This nanoclay shows significant potential for improving the thermal and mechanical properties of polymer composites. It is widely used in various nanocomposites, such as isotactic propylene-halloysite nanocomposites, alloy composites, and coatings. Its tube-like structure, high aspect ratio, and low percolation threshold make it an ideal reinforcement material in nanocomposites.
