Description: | Dichlorotriphenylphosphine[2-(diphenylphosphino)-N-(2-pyridinylmethyl)ethanamine]ruthenium(II) is a complexly coordinated organometallic compound with a center consisting of ruthenium(II) atoms coordinated to dichloride, triphenylphosphine and the nitrogen-containing ligand 2-(diphenylphosphino)-N-(2-pyridinylmethyl)ethylamine. The compound combines the excellent catalytic properties of ruthenium with the stable coordination structure of the ligand, which makes it particularly well suited to facilitate a wide range of green catalytic processes, such as hydrogenation, olefin isomerization and C-H bond activation reactions in homogeneous catalysis. |
