Polybutylene Succinate (PBS)

CD BioSciences-GreenChemistry is dedicated to the advancement of green chemistry, and we specialize in the research, development, production, and marketing of green and sustainable Polybutylene Succinate (PBS), a thermoplastic biodegradable polyester material synthesized from biobased feedstocks (e.g., corn starch, sugarcane, and beet sugar) through a polymerization reaction. It has mechanical properties similar to those of conventional plastics. However, its greatest advantage is that it is completely biodegradable and can be decomposed into water and carbon dioxide in the natural environment, thus reducing environmental pollution.

Our PBS products are widely used in a variety of fields, including packaging, agriculture, medicine, textile, and automotive. For example, in the packaging field, PBS can be used to produce food packaging bags and biodegradable tableware; in the medical field, PBS can be used to manufacture disposable medical supplies; and in the agricultural field, PBS can be used as mulch or mulch film.

As a leading green chemistry company, CD BioSciences-GreenChemistry is committed to helping clients achieve their sustainability goals by providing high-quality PBS products and contributing to the reduction of plastic pollution and the protection of the environment.
