Description The colorimetric IHC assay kit identifies apoptotic cells in tissue and cultured cell samples by using a small but highly specific partial labeling and streptavidin peroxidase coupling. After incorporation of the labeled portion into sites of DNA fragments, detection is achieved by a catalytic "click" reaction that adds biotin moieties to these sites. Subsequent addition of streptavidin-peroxidase and peroxidase substrates produces a dark brown signal that can be examined by light microscopy and stored for future analysis.
