• Halociline, an alkaloid derivative isolated from the marine fungus Penicillium griseofulvum, targets MAPK1, MMP-9, and PIK3CA in gastric cancer cells. This effect is potentially mediated through pathways involved in cancer, lipid metabolism, atherosclerosis, and resistance to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Halociline also displays antimicrobial, antioxidant, and biofilm inhibitory activities.
