Description The product is Bacillus thuringiensis, a class of crystal-producing bacilli that includes many variants. The bacterium can produce two major types of toxins, namely endotoxin (accompanied by cytotoxic crystals) and exotoxin, which can make the pests stop feeding, and the pests die of starvation and poisoning. Therefore, the bacillus can be used as a low-toxicity insecticide of microbial origin to control a variety of pests of Orthoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera, especially Lepidoptera.
