• Lepadin E, a potent ferroptosis inducer, induces iron-dependent cell death through the classical p53-SLC7A11-GPX4 pathway. It promotes p53 expression, decreases SLC7A11 and GPX4 levels, and leads to increased reactive oxygen species (ROS) and lipid peroxide production. Additionally, Lepadin E upregulates ACSL4 expression, resulting in significant cell death and exhibiting a strong antitumor effect.
