Manzamine A • Manzamine A is a beta-carboline alkaloid with oral bioavailability that specifically inhibits GSK-3β and CDK-5, showing IC₅₀ values of 10.2 μM and 1.5 μM, respectively. It targets vacuolar ATPases and suppresses autophagy in pancreatic cancer cells. Manzamine A exhibits both antimalarial and anticancer activities, and also demonstrates strong inhibitory effects against HSV-1.
