Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) is a biodegradable medical-grade polymer material made from poly-L-lactic acid. It has excellent biocompatibility and, upon degradation within the body, its metabolic byproducts are safely excreted, posing no harm or side effects to the human body.

Application

This product is widely used in the medical field, such as bone fixation and bone repair materials (e.g., absorbable screws, absorbable bone plates), tissue engineering scaffolds, cardiovascular stents, injectable microcapsules, microspheres, implants, animal organ support elastomers, single-use infusion devices, non-removable surgical sutures, drug-controlled release, and sustained-release packaging agents.
