Poly(Lactic-co-Glycolic Acid) , 0.70-1.20 dL/g Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) is a high-molecular-weight organic compound. Compared to PLA, the degradation time of the polymer can be controlled by varying the GA content, resulting in a soft and elastic material. Different monomer ratios can be used to prepare various types of PLGA, and the degradation extent of PLGA varies with the monomer ratio, with a higher glycolic acid ratio leading to faster degradation.
This product can be used in tissue engineering scaffolds to repair tissue defects such as bones and skin, and promote cell regeneration. This product is also used in medical devices such as blood vessel scaffolds and bone fixation devices.
