Catalog Number MDP-12809

Appearance Solid

Overview

• A natural macrocyclic compound and potent Hsp90 inhibitor (IC₅₀ < 1 μM), promoting proteasomal degradation of client proteins. Radicicol also inhibits pyruvate dehydrogenase kinases PDK1 and PDK3 with IC₅₀ values of 230 μM and 400 μM, respectively. It acts as an antifungal and antimalarial agent and impairs mitochondrial replication by targeting Plasmodium falciparum topoisomerase VIB. Additionally, Radicicol inhibits FTO demethylase (IC₅₀ = 16.04 μM), with potential in metabolic and epigenetic research.
