Stellettin B • Stellettin B, a triterpenoid compound isolated from the marine sponge Jaspis stellifera, induces G1 phase arrest, apoptosis, and autophagy in human non-small cell lung cancer A549 cells by blocking the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway. It also reduces migration and invasion of liver cancer cells by inhibiting the MAPK and FAK/PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathways. Stellettin B is used in tumor research.
