• Tasiamide B, a linear peptide derived from the marine cyanobacteria Symploca sp., serves as an inhibitor of Cathepsin D. It has proven to be an excellent template for developing inhibitors of aspartic proteases. Tasiamide B is particularly effective against skin cancer, strongly interacting with the target protein HSP90.
